                Vintage Ferragamo Briefcase Found At An Estate Sale

Last week we shared with you a vintage designer Gucci camera bag that we found at an estate sale...well along with that bag we also found this gem - a vintage Ferragamo briefcase.
The handles need a little fixing, and it does need a little polishing- but otherwise its in wonderful condition! Who says you can't find great things in Los Angeles? ....
The thing that we try not to do when on any thrifting excursion is go with a list. We go to have fun, to spend a day together outdoors, take our time and we usually find an item or two that we love.
This particular day though was a pretty awesome day. You wanna know the best part? Both bags were bought for under $ 20.00. Pretty awesome right?

The Story About A Shoe Named Tara.....

Today we would like to share a little story about our style named TARA. If you look on our shop today you'll noticed that she is on special (and the price is super special).
Tara is made with a pre-washed jersey t- shirt fabric that gives her a laid back casual look.
Due to the washing process of this style, you will see some faded variation on fabric here and there.
Some may feel this to be a defect, but we love the natural look of her, which gives her more character.
We girls have been running around all week in a pair and they are seriously like sneakers...so comfy and had lots of compliments all around.
To be fair to our customers we are offering her for a special price on our shop (please make sure to read the detail section).
The Red / White is our personal favorite!

We've Struck Designer Vintage Gold!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today we wanted to share with you a little designer vintage find from last weeks thrifting excursion. Along with going to thrift stores in our favorite areas we also did some estate sales and yard sales this past Saturday. Our first stop produced this amazing vintage Gucci shoulder bag. A little lady was selling all her mothers "old stuff" (those were her words) and it was A LOT of stuff.
Searching through boxes and wrestling through kitchen wares we found this little bag stuffed inside a paper bag!  It needs a little cleaning, but otherwise its in lovely vintage condition. Along with this bag we found a vintage Ferragamo briefcase which we will also showcase later this week!
So...we pretty much feel like we struck vintage designer gold! xoxo

The Petunia Dress And Sunny Joanna in Yellow!

We named this dress Petunia. The floral design and sweet pearl buttons made her a sure partner to our Joanna in Sunny Yellow! The yellow just brightens up the Petunia don't you think?

The Artist Smock Named Norma....

 Today we feature yet another find from our thrifting adventure, a artist smock we fitting named, Norma. Why did we name this dress Norma? Well, when we found her one of the girls said it reminded her of her 3rd grade art teacher. Mrs. Norma Wheeler.
She walked around in these kinds of smocks teaching her students how to magically change watercolor into works of 3rd grade masterpieces.
Who did we pair our Norma dress with? She's a sure fit with our style Yorkie in sunny yellow!

The Little Floral Dress Named Mildred...

Another post on our thrifting finds from last week! The floral pattern was so vibrant on this dress, that we spotted her from across the store. When we ran over to her, we could not believe our luck on how sweet she was. We named this floral dress the "Mildred" ..we thought she could be best friends with our Dennise in Black.

The Little Blue Dress.....

Earlier this week, the girls of b.a.i.t. went on our monthly thrifting adventure. The weather was so perfect and we had such a successful day of personal thrift shopping. We LOVE shoes of course, but our other true passion is vintage dresses! We love ALL things flowly and sweet. Case in point this lovely little blue dress. The print is like a wonder of scribbles and the chiffon light weight flow of this dress just made us adore her.

It's sheer, which gives us the perfect reason to wear a vintage red slip underneath to show a little peep of color. Now....which b.a.i.t. style would we wear with our lovely blue dress? There are so many sweet styles but we like the Dennise in Red- with the white socks to give it a polished retro feel.

Happy Monday Everyone! The b.a.i.t. girls were on a mission this weekend to find much needed pieces for an empty space we have in our office. We really wanted that space to be pretty and comfy...after all, we do spend most of our time outside our own homes and in some kind of "work" place.
We wanted to make a "ladies lounge" of some sort, just to sit and have tea...or eat ice cream...or throw darts...hee heee..
We found a few pieces to make it just the way we like it. Girly...with a little tomboy-ish touch.
We made some friends too. Local markets are so awesome to visit!

Yesterday we had a brief discussion in the office about books. Sadie  in the office said, she LOVED the smell of old books, while June in the other hand said she couldn't stand the musty smell, she loved new books!
This got us thinking...which do you prefer? The old...vs....the new?
Books are glorious no matter what, but we thought we'd share our daily chatter with you and see what you thought?
